Luin runs with a pack of slum rebels preparing for a government issued raid after suffering from severe amnesia. With an upcoming world war and where people scan like groceries he decides to dedicate his aimless existence to protecting a girl with severe burns by the name of Thae. Though when he begins to chase the ghosts of his unfamiliar past, Luin strays from the slums and ends up back in the lives of his forgotten comrades; Colt and Vel. Soon he is able to switch between his past and present (rather conflicting) personalities, who communicate through journals to one another. Luin finds out that not only was he part of a political experiment to a grandiose plan, but he had also caused his own memory loss. He’s left with one question; what exactly was he trying to forget?
